The Mesrob Mashtots Children's Choir is the children's choral group of the Hamazkayin Varak chapter in Vancouver. Named after the creator of the Armenian alphabet, it teaches young singers Armenian choral repertoire and the habit of singing together. The choir sits alongside the chapter's Masis dance group as part of Hamazkayin's cultural work in British Columbia. It serves Armenian families in Greater Vancouver looking for an Armenian language activity for younger children. To ask about joining, write to the Hamazkayin Canada regional office or reach the Varak chapter through the Hamazkayin Canada chapters page.
