The Sevan Children's and Youth Water Sports School trains young swimmers and water sports athletes in the town of Sevan. It is listed among Armenia's state sports schools on the Government of Armenia services gateway, so it operates inside the public sports system. Programmes are for children and youth, teaching water skills and working towards competition for those who continue. A water sports school in Sevan has an obvious advantage in a landlocked country, and it gives families in the Gegharkunik area access to coaching close to home. Enquiries go to the school, which the government register lists by name.
