Dro is the Armenian Youth Federation chapter in Houston, Texas, part of the AYF Western Region. The chapter combines athletic programmes with cultural and youth activity, and sends members to the AYF Olympics, the federation's annual competition. Houston's Armenian community is spread across a large metropolitan area, so a chapter gives young Armenians a fixed point to gather around. AYF work is led by the members themselves, from organising events to representing the chapter regionally. Anyone interested in joining can approach the chapter or the AYF Western Region.
