The Cambridge chapter of Homenetmen serves the Armenian community of Cambridge, Ontario. It fields basketball teams and bantam soccer teams, and competes at the Homenetmen Canada Regional Games alongside the movement's other Canadian chapters. Homenetmen, the Armenian General Athletic Union and Scouts, runs sport for Armenian young people in communities worldwide, and the Cambridge chapter is part of that network in southern Ontario. Playing in Armenian teams against other Armenian chapters gives young players a reason to stay close to the community through their teenage years. Families can join through the chapter and the Canadian regional organisation.
