Homenetmen Albany is the upstate New York chapter of the Armenian General Athletic Union and Scouts. It provides athletics and scouting for Armenian children and young adults in the Albany area. The chapter is one of those competing at the 32nd Navasartian Games within the Homenetmen Eastern USA Region, which brings chapters together for annual competition. In a smaller Armenian community, a Homenetmen chapter does double duty as sports club and youth group, keeping Armenian language and friendships going between the bigger gatherings. Families can join through the chapter or the regional organisation.
