The Washington DC chapter of Homenetmen serves Armenian families in the capital area. Homenetmen is the Armenian General Athletic Union and Scouts, and the chapter runs both sides of that work, athletics and scouting. It competed at the 32nd Navasartian Games as one of the Eastern USA Region chapters, and it hosted the Homenetmen Eastern Region 46th convention in Washington in 2023. That convention role shows how established the chapter is within the regional structure. Armenian young people in the DC area can join the athletic teams or the scout groups through the chapter.
