Homenetmen Philadelphia is the city's chapter of the Armenian General Athletic Union and Scouts. It runs athletics and scouting for Armenian children, teenagers and young adults, following the pattern the movement uses worldwide. The chapter competes within the Homenetmen Eastern USA Region and took part in the 32nd Navasartian Games, the region's annual meeting of chapters. Alongside the sport, scouting gives younger members camp life, Armenian songs and a link to peers in other chapters. Armenian families in the Philadelphia area can join through the chapter or through the Eastern USA Region, which coordinates the calendar.
