Ashod Yergat is the Armenian Youth Federation chapter for Orange County, California, within the AYF Western Region. The chapter runs athletics along with cultural and youth programmes, and competes at the AYF Olympics, the federation's annual sporting gathering. It gives young Armenians in Orange County a specifically Armenian setting for sport and community work, close to home. Chapter life is organised by members themselves, with older teenagers and young adults leading. Those wanting to join go through the chapter or the AYF Western Region.
