The Compania de Teatro Krikor Satamian is the Armenian theatre company of the UGAB Buenos Aires chapter, listed under the chapter's culture section. It mounts Armenian theatre and drama productions for community audiences in the Argentine capital. The company is named after Krikor Satamian, a figure of Armenian theatre in the diaspora. Theatre in Armenian keeps the language on stage in front of an audience, which is a different and more demanding use of it than conversation at home. The company works from the chapter building on Armenia street and can be reached at 011 4773 2820 or secretaria@ugab.org.ar.
