Deportivo Armenio was founded in 1962 by Argentina's Armenian community as Club Armenio de Futbol and plays at the Estadio Republica de Armenia in Ingeniero Maschwitz, in Greater Buenos Aires. The men's side competes in Primera B Metropolitana, the third tier of Argentine football, and the club also fields women's football, runs free youth football programmes and keeps a gym. Its kit colours follow the Armenian flag, and it has run Armenian alphabet and Genocide centenary shirt campaigns and takes part in the Navasartian Games. The club serves both players from the Armenian community and the local neighbourhood. Club information is published at deportivoarmen.io.
