Masis is the Armenian folk dance group of the Hamazkayin Varak chapter in Vancouver, British Columbia. Hamazkayin is the Armenian Educational and Cultural Society, and its Canadian chapters run dance, choral and literary programs that carry Armenian traditions forward in the diaspora. The group gathers dancers around the folk repertoire of Armenia and historic Armenian regions. It serves Armenian families across Greater Vancouver who want their children and young adults to stay connected to Armenian culture through dance. Anyone interested in taking part can write to the Hamazkayin Canada regional office or reach the Varak chapter through the Hamazkayin Canada chapters page.
