Megenk is a community Armenian dance ensemble run by the Armenian Relief Society Cambridge Shushi chapter at the Armenian Cultural and Educational Center on Nichols Avenue in Watertown, Massachusetts. Weekly lessons for adults aged eighteen and over are held on Thursdays from 7:00 to 8:30pm, taught by Alex Avaneszadeh. The ensemble also raises funds for humanitarian causes, in keeping with the Armenian Relief Society's work. It welcomes adults across Greater Boston who want to learn Armenian dance in a social setting. Interested dancers can join the Thursday evening lessons at the centre in Watertown.
