The Church of the Holy Cross on Plastunskaya Street serves the central district of Sochi. It was founded and consecrated in 1992 by the Bishop of Novonakhichevan and Russia, built through 1992 and 1993, and opened in 1993. It belongs to the Northern Caucasus Vicariate of the Diocese of Southern Russia, and the Sevan Armenian community of Sochi runs a Sunday school on the site.
